Happy New Year!

Nathanh and I went up to Campbell River to visit my sister and her family for New Year's.  Erwin needed to tend to some things at home and he had a temperature of 102 so he decided to stay behind.  We missed him ringing in the New Year together as a family of three, but it was probably better that way!   Nathanh and I are feeling fine!  Anyways, since I have been away I am a bit behind on posting so here are a few pictures of Nathanh and family over the past few days.

Last Wednesday we woke up to snow!  It was quite a surprise but I could not miss my opportunity to dress Nathanh up in his new snowsuit and head outside for a photo op.
We have a little slope in our backyard, I thought it would be good to prop Nathanh up on the slope so he wasn't just flat on the ground...well, as does happen with slopes and snowsuits he slid down!  It was only about half a body length (his body length!) but boy was it funny!  In the end he smiled but you could tell he was not sure for a second.

Okay, hard to see but here Nathanh is making his first snow angel!

Back inside again (yes, he was wearing his jammies inside his snowsuit!) having a much better time playing with a little musical toy he got from his Uncle Colin and Auntie Elaine for Christmas.

Cute outfit from Nana.

Enjoying his peas!  Did I mention before that we have not yet gotten around to buying kiddie bowls?  Well, we haven't so all the best, Nathanh sized, bowls in the house are little crystal bowls...is this kid spoiled or what???

Nathanh loves this little mouse at Nana and Grandpa's.  Here we are working on crawling so we put it out as a motivator.  Nathanh has just lunged himself forward...not quite right but I don't think he is far off from crawling!

Nathanh and Auntie Jen up in Campbell River.

Nathanh and his cousin Shaylene in Campbell River.

Napping with Auntie Kim.  This was Auntie Kim's goal of the visit...to nap with a sleeping baby! Success!  The better part was that while they were napping upstairs, mommy was napping downstairs!

Trying to pull himself up on a box...hasn't done it yet but lots of attempts!
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year...From T.E.N.
