Then and Now

It is hard to believe that six months ago today I was meeting my little girl for the very first time.  I am busy thinking of all the ways she has grown and changed for another post but for now I thought I'd give a now and then picture.  You know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

A fiercely independent child who refused to let us get too close.  She was described to us as "very timid" and needed everything to be in slow, small steps.

And today...

All smiles holding up her latest accomplishment from gymnastics!  She brought it in to the YMCA with us so she could show it to Nathanh as soon as we picked him up from pre-school.

I am so proud of her and love her more and more each and every day!
