Poor Little Guy

Erwin has been sick this week so he worked from home for three days.  Unfortunately, instead of passing his illness along to the guys at work, he passed it on to Nathanh and me:(

It was very hard today seeing Nathanh so obviously miserable.  He was congested all day, his nose would just not clear.  His face was red under his eyes so his eyes and sinus' were obviously bothering him:(  He kept coughing during his nap time.  He only slept for about 25 minutes in the morning, which is very short for him.  He refused to eat lunch, definitely not Nathanh, so I gave him a bottle instead, which thankfully he took.  He then went down for an afternoon nap and slept about two and a half hours.  He ate his dinner but was very clingy all evening.  We gave him a bath before bed, hoping to clear his nose a bit.  After his bedtime bottle, as I was holding him, he was even having trouble keeping his soother in because he was breathing through his mouth.  Poor guy.  I hope he gets a good night sleep, for both his and our sake, and feels a whole lot better in the morning.  It is just so hard seeing little ones sick and not really being able to do much to help them.

Not sure if you have some nasal saline spray for Nathanh? It really helps with the nasal congestion and I could not have done without it when Matteo was congested!! ...Hope you all get better soon, but especially Nathanh. So hard to watch a baby be sick!!

Yep it is very difficult to see them sick. There is nothing sadder than a sick child/baby :( We have also used the saline spray and it works quite well. Hope he feels better soon!

Thanks for the idea. We do have the saline spray, we used it on the plane and with the nebulizer, but I had forgotten about it. I will try it out when Nathanh wakes from his nap:)
