- September19, 2014 - returned home to Canada
- September 17, 2014 - Thianna's Temporary Canadian Passport issued
- September 10, 2014 - Canadian Citizenship Part 2 sent to Singapore
- September 9, 2014 - Vietnamese passport issued
- September 8, 2014 - Applied for Vietnamese passport
- September 5, 2014 - Giving and Receiving Ceremony
- September 4, 2014 - Third orphanage visit (pm)

- July 6, 2009 - Began the homestudy process
- July 15, 2009 - All of our initial paperwork received by the adoption agency
- July 25, 2009 Criminal record searches completed
- July 31, 2009 - Met with social worker for the first time
- August 6, 2009 - Tammi completed her initial medical report
- August 12, 2009 - Erwin completed his initial medical report
- August 17, 2009 - Second meeting with social worker
- August 31, 2009 - Third meeting with social worker
- September 12, 2009 - Attended workshop on Cross Cultural Adoption
- September 24, 2009 - Attended Birthmother's Panel
- October 4, 2009 - Completed adoption education portion of our homestudy
- October 5, 2009 - Final homestudy meeting with our social worker
- October 17, 2009 - got the first draft of our homestudy
- November 4, 2009 - final copy of our homestudy was signed by our adoption agency
- November 10, 2009 - Completed medical reports for Vietnam
- November 12, 2009 - completed dossier for Vietnam
- November 28, 2009 - Attended Attachment Toolkit workshop
- November 30, 2009 - Part One of Citizenship and Immigration mailed to Nova Scotia
- December 14, 2009 - Received letter from Citizenship and Immigraton Canada confirming they have received our Part 1 application.
- April 9, 2010 - Part 1 of Canadian Citizenship for a Person Adopted by a Canadian Citizen - Completed
- April 16, 2010 - Updated medical reports for Vietnam
- June 26, 2010 - Updated Criminal Record Search
- July 13, 2010 - Received Proposal
- July 15, 2010 - Reviewed proposal with pediatrician
- July 15, 2010 - Officially accepted proposal
- October 10, 2010 - updated medical reports for Vietnam
- October 14, 2010 - Letter Of No Objection issued
- October 29, 2010 - Invitation to Travel issued by Vietnam
- November 5, 2010 - Travelled to Vietnam
- November 8, 2010 - Orphanage visit, met Nathanh for the very first time
- November 9, 2010 - Giving and Recieving Ceremony - we became a Forever Family
- November 10, 2010 - got Nathanh's Vietnamese passport
- November 15, 2010 - Part Two of Citizenship and Immigration sent to Singapore
- November 19, 2010 - Nathanh recieved his Temporary Canadian passport
- November 22, 2010 - Arrived home with Nathanh
- December 7, 2010 - Recieved Nathanh's Change of Name Certificate
- January 27, 2011 - Picked up Nathanh's permanent Canadian Passport
- February 10, 2011 - Recieved Nathanh's CareCard
- February 18, 2011 - Received Nathanh's Certificate of Canadian Citizenship
- March 8, 2011 - Received Nathanh's SIN card
