Good News, Right?

So I got an e-mail from our agency today stating that Erwin and I need to update our criminal record checks.  No problem we can go down to the police station and get that done tomorrow morning.  Last time we did this I thought it would take weeks.  When I have had criminal record searches done for work, I just fill out the paperwork and it gets forwarded straight to the school district so I've never seen the process.  I usually just get an e-mail from HR a few weeks later saying that they've received it.  Anyways, when we went in for the adoption, they just looked it up then on the computer, there was no one else around and we were out the door with the criminal record searches in hand after about 20 minutes.  So I know where we will be tomorrow morning bright and early.

But here is the part that I am more excited about, this is how the e-mail started..."Your Vietnam file is in the matching process..." that can only be a good thing, right?  "Matching process" definitely sounds a whole lot better than waitlist or pile on some unknown person's desk, right?  I am going to take it as a good sign.  It is definitely at a stage where it is important for our file to be up to date.  That has to mean that somebody is going to look at it soon, right?

I am asking "right?" a lot...I want validation.  This is good news, right?

Isn't it funny how two simple little words "matching process" can just make your day!

That's great news! We never heard anything between when our paperwork went to Vietnam and the day we got our proposal, so it's nice to have confirmation that you're moving along. Eeek! So excited for you!

This is so exciting, 'matching process' is my new favorite phrase. I know that God's hand is in this matching process, nothing happens by accident.
